Frost!

First light frost of the season last night. Good thing I covered up the beds. Let's see if the tomatoes survived.

Radishes and lettuce planted a couple weeks ago are starting to look good.

Lawn mowing #9.5

Less than two weeks since the last time and only one half of the lawn area needed it.
Next time: save the clippings for the compost rather than direct mulching.

17 March 2012

I killed the Royal Hogweed -er, cut down the trumpet vine. The bugs, bird droppings, and blossom droppings were unpleasant beneath it. 
-Also cut down tree at sw corner - weed
-Moved the clamodis and
-The rose I moved last fall is growing in both places
-New today: parilla, sun flowers, tarragon,
